Per-event purchases pay a fixed amount on the charge. Pro subscriptions pay a meaningful upfront plus monthly recurring while the planner stays active.

Add-on SKUs (AI moderation $5/event, retention upgrades, +50 GB storage $9) aren't referral-eligible. Payout floor: $50 minimum balance. Payouts go out monthly on the 1st for the prior month, after a 14-day clawback window.

When do I get paid? +
Monthly on the 1st, for credits earned in the prior calendar month, after a 14-day clawback window. Minimum payout balance is $50.
What happens if the event gets refunded? +
If Stripe refunds within 14 days of the charge, we reverse the referral credit. After 14 days, you keep the payout.
Can I refer myself or my own events? +
No — self-referrals are blocked. If the payout-account email matches the organizer-account email, the credit doesn't post.
What about the App Store install path? +
When the couple installs directly from the App Store rather than your link, the referral can be lost. The cleanest path is the couple clicking your festoso.app/?ref=... link from Safari/Chrome, then installing.
Is the recurring Pro payout really capped at 12 months? +
Yes. You earn $10/mo on each active Pro subscription you referred, for up to 12 months. After that the recurring stops but you keep the $40 first-payment payout.
